Note: Please read our Cancellation & Refund Policy in full prior to booking. For convenience, this information is also appended to our Booking Request Form and terms herein must be agreed upon in order to travel with Brown Girls Trippin.

By advancing through our travel booking process, we expect that you (the “Traveler”) have reviewed the following information. Additionally, we are aware that this information may differ from other travel companies. As well as each destination. Which is a testament to our unique approach to support our Travelers with unique offerings tailored to their needs.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

The Traveler may cancel her participation in events hosted by Brown Girls Trippin at any time, but please be aware of the following cancellation policy.

It is an extraordinary commitment to bring this one-of-a-kind experience to our Travelers and, therefore ALL payments are non-refundable, including deposit fees as well as installment payments. The only exception to this policy is if Brown Girls Trippin is cancelled in its entirety for any reason, in which case the Owner of Brown Girls Trippin will notify all Travelers for upcoming destinations via email to provide refund instructions.

We completely understand that unforeseen situations may present themselves to our Travelers and for such circumstances, situations, and occasions we recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance to cover your assets: If you would like to use our preferred partner please send us an email at browngirlstrippin@gmail.com

WHY IS MY PAYMENT NONREFUNDABLE?

Our vendor(s) require upfront payments that we must adhere to. When we offer a package to the Traveler we have to ensure, through good-faith payments, that you will attend the event. This is the only way we are able to provide the best experiences possible. However in some cases you may be eligible to receive a credit to use at a later date. 

CHARGEBACKS (REFUND REQUEST(S) DIRECTED FROM YOUR BANKING INSTITUTION)

All chargeback notifications received via your bank will be considered cancellation of your Brown Girls Trippin reservation.  All documentation, including confirmation of receipt of travel policies and agreement signatures will be provided to the banking institution as confirmation of payment according to all agreed upon terms. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Troubles and/or change can happen to anyone, including you and they often occur when you least anticipate them, forcing you to cancel or interrupt your trip, lose your investment, and incur unplanned expenses. We strongly encourage Travelers to purchase Travel Insurance to cover unexpected events such as loss of income, medical emergencies for you or someone dear to you before and during the trip, a death in the family, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events. In fairness to our Travelers that purchase Travel Insurance, we strictly abide by the Transfer, Cancellation, and Refund Policy contained herein regardless of personal circumstances or circumstances beyond your control that prevent or delay your participation. Travel insurance may be purchased from a national insurer.  Simply research by typing “Travel Insurance” into your search engine to become informed regarding options available. Insurers usually require the purchase of coverage to occur near the date of booking. Some airlines offer Travel Insurance – please be aware that such insurance rarely covers more than just the air fare; you may still lose your investment in your desired Brown Girls Trippin package in such a case. We are here to help you have an enjoyable experience, which includes the execution in planning your trip and securing Travel Insurance from a direct travel insurance carrier, which usually covers the entire investment please email browngirlstrippin@gmail.com to request travel insurance. Please note: travel insurance must be added within 14 days of purchasing the vacation package. 

DELINQUENCIES

If the outstanding balance is not paid by the "final payment" due date, the trip will be cancelled in its entirety and may or may not be eligible for a future credit.

ROOMMATE CANCELLATION

If you purchase the Double Occupancy package, please understand you are fully responsible and financially obligated for the reservation. Should your roommate cancel, we will make all best efforts to assign another roommate, if available.
