Meet the Founder
You've probably seen her with a camera in one hand and a cocktail in the other — but don’t get it twisted, Shar is the mastermind behind the magic.
She created Brown Girls Trippin for women who crave adventure, community and content all in one passport stamp.
As a frequent flier and storyteller at heart, Shar curates every trip with purpose from locations, to content strategies to detailed itineraries.
Her ultimate goal is to empower women to explore the world with purpose, create content with confidence, and find community in every corner of the globe.
She didn’t just create a travel group — she created a movement.

Our Destinations
You'll notice that we like to spin the block — on purpose 😌 I like to return to locations I know really well so I can give you the best experience without the guesswork. I’ve done the trial-and-error, figured out where the vibe is right, and know exactly how to make each trip smooth, fun, and content-friendly. That said, I do throw in a wild card destination here and there — after I’ve taken the time to really learn it and make sure it’s worth your time and money. Quality over randomness, always.

Extraordinary experiences deserve an intentional community. So everyone joins by applying first to ensure the vibe fits.
Once you apply, we’ll review your responses. You'll hear back from us within 48 hours.
Once you’re approved, you can pay in full or with a $300 deposit to save your spot, then handle the rest with monthly payments.
